Enjoy the day at both Bridlington & Filey
If youre looking for a leisurely day out, how about visiting the elegant promenades of bright and breezy Bridlington? With its sandy beaches, award-winning promenades and historic harbour, this is a hidden seaside gem awash with kitsch traditional entertainment. Visit the funfair, amusements and donkey rides on the beach for a traditional British day out with seaside in spades!
Why not visit Park Rose Pottery, Cruckley Animal Farm, Bridlington Heritage Museum, Sailing from the beach, Burton Agnes Hall or perhaps Bondville Miniature Village. If you are with your family then maybe a visit to the Leisure World, John Bull World of Rock and the Beside The Seaside Museum would be more suitable.
After all the sightseeing, why not pop into the 60s coffee bar for a relaxing break a bite to eat from their themed menus and have a coffee.
The town boasts a superb shopping complex and two excellent full 18 hole golf courses. The seafront road-train takes visitors to all the traditional attractions, including funfairs and amusement arcades and for those times when the sun is behind the clouds you could visit the forum complex.

With its glorious sweep of soft, golden sand, Filey beach is one of the best in the country for families its so huge that, no matter how busy it gets, its never crowded.
Its the perfect place to take a walk, fly a kite, build a sandcastle, snooze in a deckchair, or maybe do a spot of birdwatching Filey Brigg, a peninsula at the northern end of the town. Early spring may find you face to face with a snoozing seal on the beach, and in summer porpoise sightings are regular. Then why not follow it up with a trip to the much-loved Coble Landing, a slipway with a picturesque jumble of boats and kiosks, for a cuppa and a bacon buttie?
The town, too, is full of gentle pleasures, with its Edwardian architecture, quirky shops and intriguing museum. And its official! Filey boasts the second best B&B in the entire world: TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Awards 2014.
