Hayling Island is a true island off the southern coast of Hampshire, situated between Portsmouth and Chichester. Measuring about 4 miles by 4 miles and shaped like an inverted "T," it is accessible from the mainland via the A3023 road bridge or the seasonal Hayling Ferry.

 

The island boasts miles of traditional shingle and sand beaches and is widely celebrated as the birthplace of modern windsurfing. It offers a mix of retro seaside charm and tranquil natural escapes.

Bognor Regis

 

• Bognor Regis, officially one of the UK’s sunniest towns, is the home of sea views and coastal panoramas. A traditional resort at heart, Bognor Regis has been welcoming visitors for generations, from its beautiful coastline to the shops, historical and seaside attractions, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained in Bognor Regis all year round.

 

Chichester

 

• A visit to Chichester, a Roman cathedral city and the only city in West Sussex. It has countless grade II listed buildings dotted all over the city and other points of interest include The City Cross was built in 1500 by Bishop Edward Storey as a shelter for people who sold their wares on market day. Enjoy a walk around the pedestrianised centre or may be enjoy a spot of lunch at one of the many eateries near the Cathedral.

 

Worthing

 

• A visit to Worthing, One of the biggest seaside towns on the South Coast, home of award winning beaches and plenty to see and do including lots of local history including much of which can be found in the famous museum and gallery.

 

Warners - Sinah Warren ****

 

Relax and recharge at Sinah Warren, a coastal retreat where you can watch yachts sail by or soak up lush green scenery. Originally a 15th century health farm, its unusual name may come from the herb ‘Sinah’, which was used to cure a wide range of ailments.
