Enjoy a 5 day holiday to Newquay staying at the Pentire Hotel
29th March 2nd April
On Cornwalls Atlantic Coast, Newquay constantly wins titles including One of the Nation's Favourite Seaside Towns in the Which Holiday Survey. Newquay is home to some of Cornwalls finest beaches. Explore the town with many pedestrianised streets, and many attractions to discover and explore.
Whilst on tour, the following program includes;
Eden Project
The Eden Project is a massive, award-winning global garden and educational charity located in a reclaimed china clay pit in Bodelva, Cornwall. It is famous for its giant, dome-like greenhouses (biomes) that recreate tropical and Mediterranean environments, housing thousands of plant species from around the world.
The Biomes
Rainforest Biome: The world's largest indoor rainforest, replicating humid tropical environments from Southeast Asia, West Africa, and South America.
Mediterranean Biome: Houses plants adapted to sunnier, drier climates, such as those found in California, South Africa, and Western Australia.
The Outdoor Gardens
Beyond the iconic domes, the project features 24 acres of expansive outdoor gardens. These display crops, agricultural exhibits, and dynamic landscapes designed to showcase the vital connection between plants and human civilization.
Core Mission & Features
Operating as a social enterprise, the Eden Project was created to regenerate damaged land and inspire environmental action. The site uses geothermal energy to heat its biomes and features.
The Core: An educational building based on the geometry of a sunflower, featuring the "Invisible Worlds" exhibition.
Events & Art: Hosts seasonal exhibitions, year-round family events, and the popular summer music concerts known as the Eden Sessions.
St Ives
St Ives is a picturesque seaside town in Cornwall, renowned for its golden beaches, mild climate, and thriving arts scene. Centred around a historic working harbour, the town features a maze of narrow, cobbled streets and fisherman's cottages, surrounded by five distinct beaches including the surfing hotspot, Porthmeor.
St Ives has a rich history as an artistic hub, famously attracting painters who were drawn by the unique quality of the coastal light. This legacy is celebrated at the Tate St Ives gallery, which overlooks Porthmeor Beach, and the tranquil Barbara Hepworth Museum & Sculpture Garden. To beat the summer congestion, many visitors use the scenic St Erth Park and Ride to catch the short branch-line train into the town
