• Swansea is the second-largest city in Wales, located on the south coast with a rich industrial history as the former centre of the copper industry. Today, it is a vibrant coastal city known for its modern amenities, including nightlife and restaurants, and its proximity to the Gower Peninsula, the UK's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

 

Mumbles

 

• Mumbles is a charming coastal village in Swansea, known for its picturesque setting at the start of the Gower Peninsula, its historic sites like a lighthouse, Victorian pier, and Oystermouth Castle, and its array of independent shops and boutiques. It is often described as a relaxed, cosmopolitan destination with a strong local identity, famous for both its local seafood and ice cream. 

 

Seabank Hotel ***

 

The Seabank Hotel is one of Porthcawl’s most prominent buildings, situated on a headland, a short walk from the Grand Pavilion and John Street shops. There are spectacular views of the Bristol Channel and South Wales coast from the bar, restaurant and most bedrooms.
