2025 Fort William is “the Outdoor Capital of the UK”. Home to a huge variety of outdoor activities and Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. Fort William and Lochaber is also one of the most historic places in Scotland - the Jacobites, Glenfinnan and the Old Fort William and Inverlochy Castle ruin are just a few examples of the area’s amazing history. Fort William is the largest town in the Highlands along with the villages of Inverlochy, Caol, Banavie and Corpach which make up the greater township around the shore of beautiful Loch Linnhe.

 

Whilst on tour, the following program includes;

 

Isle of Skye

 

The Island has a rich History covering many topics, such as: dinosaur fossils, clan warfare, Highland Clearances and the infamous Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobite Rebellion.

The Island of Skye is 50 miles long and the largest of the Inner Hebrides. The capital is Portree. Villages in the north of the Island include Dunvegan, Edinbane, Uig and Staffin. Notable villages in the south of Skye include Broadford, Armadale, Carbost, Elgol and Kyleakin.

 

Oban

 

Nestled on the west coast and surrounded by miles of dramatic shores and beautiful countryside, the seaside town of Oban is a great place for a holiday. Often called the 'Gateway to the Isles', many people travel to Oban as part of a west coast adventure.

 

Inverness

 

Inverness in Scotland is known as the 'Highland Capital', it still retains its market town feel to it, dating back to its early development. Today tourism is a very important part of the economy.

 

Inverness is in the north of Scotland and is one of the smallest cities in Scotland with some 55,000 people. The City is growing fast due to Inverness airport and its location in the Highlands.

 

Croit Anna Hotel ***

 

Situated on the shores of Loch Linnhe, three miles from the centre of Fort William with spectacular views across the loch from all of the public rooms and most of the bedrooms, the Croit Anna Hotel offers a comfortable base in which to relax. • Three course freshly cooked menu with vegetarian and vegan options served at your table, featuring many Scottish Classics and with tea and coffee to finish.
