This years weekend begins on Friday evening at 7:30pm with an unforgettable performance from The Rhythm Exchange Band, joined by the fabulous Alka Seltzer Sisters - so dust off your dancing shoes and get ready for a lively start to the celebrations.
On Saturday, step back in time as Grassington transforms into a living snapshot of the 1940s. Wander through the cobbled streets and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the era, with an impressive collection of vintage vehicles, live entertainment, and even a replica Spitfire proudly displayed in the Main Square. As you explore, enjoy the captivating vocals of The Lancashire Belle, enthralling audiences with her graceful, heartfelt performances. A little further along, opposite R Bar and The Foresters, Murray Rose returns with his fun, dance-filled musical set, while the evercharming Jeep Johnson continues to delight visitors with his timely 1940s favourites.
If you missed the Alka Seltzer Sisters on Friday, you can catch them again on Saturday near The Flower Loft and The Black Horse. In the central marquee, the legendary Paul Harper will be performing alongside the energetic Rum & Cola Girls.
Be sure to gather at 12 noon on Saturday, when the Yorkshire Volunteers Band & Corps of Drums begin their march from the Town Hall - always a highlight of the weekend. The celebrations continue on Saturday evening at 7:30pm with the powerful and muchloved Echo 42 Big Band.
As you make your way toward the Town Hall, youll find even more vintage vehicles and traditional market stalls set among Grassingtons charming, historic backdrop. And for those who love to dance, join us for the ever-popular Afternoon Tea Dance led by Geoff and Maggie Forrest, taking place from 2-4pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
