On the 9th and 10th of May 2026, Melton Mowbray will be transformed into the 1940s with activities, fashion and music. The event starts at 10am and runs through to 5pm on both days with a spectacular parade through town on the Sunday morning.

A weekend of 30s & 40s themed entertainment in the town centre and Playclose Park, vintage stalls, re-enactments from the era, vintage cars, living history displays, 1940’s live music and plenty of delicious food and drink.

Come and enjoy the atmosphere; a fantastic event for all the family.

Brand new for 2026 – Stockyard Melton Mowbray will celebrate the 50s and 60s including hot rods and American cars, DJ Woody, Charlotte Porter and the High Rollers (Saturday daytime) and Grease the Movie.

The majority of trips return from destination between 16:30 and 17:30. The driver will inform you of the exact time on the day, dependant on outward travel times. Whilst we do not guarantee a W/C on board most of our excursion fleet do have toilet facilities. For your comfort we allocate seating at time of booking, however reserve the right to alter or amend your seat allocation for utilisation purposes.
