The free, 2-day festival has grown to become one of the most popular annual events on the East Yorkshire coast and 2025 is its 10th year anniversary.

Don't miss the fun on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May 2025.

 

Some of the world’s largest inflatable kites will take to the skies above the dramatic cliffs of the East Yorkshire coast to mark the 10th anniversary of Bridlington Kite Festival.

From enormous flying frogs to sky-high snakes, large leaping lizards to a whopping whale and huge cute teddy bears, dozens of exotic inflatables will add a splash of colour to the cliff tops above the popular seaside resort of Bridlington.

 

Year-on-year a number of internationally-renowned kite experts return to provide spectacular displays for thousands of spectators over the weekend.

There will be professional demonstrations and visitors can have a go with kites available for loan during supervised sessions. There will also be the popular parachuting teddy bear drop sessions.

 

Alongside the kites there will be food, drink and charity stalls, fairground rides and children's entertainment - making it an action packed, fun filled, free festival for all the family.

The majority of trips return from destination between 16:30 and 17:30. The driver will inform you of the exact time on the day, dependant on outward travel times. Whilst we do not guarantee a W/C on board most of our excursion fleet do have toilet facilities. For your comfort we allocate seating at time of booking, however reserve the right to alter or amend your seat allocation for utilisation purposes.
