Discover fine gardens, imposing castles, glorious coastline and rolling meadows on our summer visit to ‘the Garden of England’ including Great Dixter & Sissinghurst Gardens. A visit to the “loveliest castle in the world” all washed down with a tour and tastings of an award winning Winery.

Whilst in Kent the following programme includes:

• A visit to the cathedral city of Canterbury, dating back to 597AD, with its Roman walls encircling its medieval centre of cobbled streets. We visit the 900 year old Leeds Castle, described as “the loveliest castle in the world”. Explore the castle with its labyrinth or rooms and acres of parkland, gardens and daily activities.

• Enjoy a journey aboard “The Jewel of the Weald”, a steam train journey that will take you on a journey into the past and is one of the UK’s finest examples of a rural light railway. We also visit Great Dixter, a historic Tudor house, together with its gardens which are a place for pilgrimage for horticulturists from across the world.

• We visit one of the most famous and extensive English gardens – Sissinghurst. Main areas include the Rose Garden, Lime Walk, White Garden and the colourful Cottage Garden. The award winning Hush Heath Winery is also on our itinerary, with over 400 acres of manicured vineyards and apple orchards. Included is a guided tour of the Estate followed by a tasting.

The Clifton Hotel ***

Offering spectacular views of the English Channel, this traditional Victorian style hotel dates back to 1864, and is steeped in rich history and nostalgia. Primarily known for its scenic views and grand style, you will find everything you need at the Clifton Hotel. Enjoy an afternoon coffee in the lounge, sip a cocktail in the Ocean Bleu Bar or indulge in some food with its great reviews and reputation.
