• V&A Dundee is a design museum in Dundee, Scotland, which opened on 15 September 2018. The V&A Dundee is the first design museum in Scotland and the first Victoria and Albert Museum outside London. The V&A Dundee is also the first building in the United Kingdom designed by Kengo Kuma

 

Scone Palace

 

• Follow in the footsteps of 42 Kings, explore stunning state rooms and see where Queen Victoria and Prince Albert dined during their visit in 1842. Find your way through the maze, visit our Walled Garden, wander in the Victorian Pinetum or simply lose yourself in over 100 acres of woodland gardens that are perfect for relaxing walks.

• Scone Palace is a place that breathes history like nowhere else in Scotland. Today, in the 21st century, it is the home of the Earls of Mansfield, most famous as The Crowning Place of Scottish Kings and a major attraction to visitors from all over the world.

 

Glamis Castle

 

• The family home of the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne, Glamis Castle is the legendary setting for Shakespeare's Macbeth, the childhood home of HM Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother and the birthplace of Princess Margaret.

• As soon as you enter the Queen Mother Gates at Glamis and see the Castle's turrets and towers nestled at the end of the mile-long drive, you can't fail to be impressed by its majesty.

• Steeped in history, Glamis Castle has evolved over the years to create a stunning architectural treasure that is full of vitality to this day.

 

Woodlands Hotel ***

 

Best Western Woodlands Dundee has 65 bedrooms, a fully equipped gym, a heated indoor pool, a sauna, steam and jacuzzi, and a resident holistic masseuse. It offers a relaxing lounge bar and a large restaurant that serves breakfast lunch and dinner. The Ballroom is an ideal space for large celebrations and can seat up to 150 people.

Wylde's Wing is in the original building of what was a former mansion house. These rooms vary in size and space. There is no lift access in this wing

 

Single Rooms - The single rooms come with all the amenities you will find in a king-size room, but with a single bed and less floor space.

 

Double Rooms - Double Rooms are situated in the Hamilton Wing and Wylde's wing. The Wylde's wing double rooms may have high ceilings and cornice, some are quirkier in that they will have slanted ceilings. More standardized doubles are situated in the Hamilton Wing.

 

Twin Rooms - Standard Twin rooms are situated in the Hamilton Wing and are ground or first floor with no lift access. Most twins have walk-in showers.
