Whilst on Tour, The following programme includes;

• Free day to explore the historic coastal resort of Hastings or explore more of ‘1066 country’ at leisure.

• An excursion along the south coast with time to explore Eastbourne.

• A visit to the historic town of Rye, lined with medieval, half-timbered houses. The 14th-century Ypres Tower, which formed part of Rye’s defences, is now Rye Castle Museum, with paintings and displays on local history. We also visit elegant Royal Tunbridge Wells, the only spa town in South East England.  The Pantiles - the famous colonnaded walkway where the aristocracy once promenaded - is now home to a wonderful selection of high quality boutiques, specialist shops and cafés.

The Royal Victoria Hotel, St Leonards on Sea ***

The Royal Victoria Hotel is situated on the seafront in the heart of St Leonards. Offering 50 bedrooms,  many of which have stunning sea views. The hotel was built in 1828 by architect James Burton and is filled with charming period features, antique furnishings and a breathtaking Grade II listed marble staircase with 22ft mirror, which leads to the welcoming Piano Lounge and Bar
