Step back in time on our nostalgic tour. Find out how Bletchley shortened World War II. Theres a private guided tour around the sites of the second oldest University town. Walk through the Hangars of Duxford and get up close to a century of aviation complete with a sightseeing tour around Constable Country.
Whilst in Cambridge, the following programme includes;
A Guided tour of Cambridge aboard our coach. The University dates back to 1209. See many of the majestic college buildings and may be view punting on the Cam. We also visit the historic Fenland city of Ely, home of Oliver Cromwell with its magnificent 11th century cathedral.
A visit to Bletchley Park the worlds largest Enigma machines created by mathematical geniuses as well as founders of the modern day computer. Visit the latest exhibitions and the Churchill Exhibition.
We visit Imperial War Museum, Duxford. A visit to the best preserved Battle of Britain fighter airfield. Explore the many exhibition halls ranging from military vehicles to tanks and over 200 aircraft. We enjoy a tour around rural Essex stopping off in medieval Thaxted and the idyllic village of Finchingfield one of Englands most photographed villages.
A Visit to Stamford - a unique blend of history, niche shopping and stunning Georgian architecture Proclaimed as the finest stone town in England, it was declared a conservation area in 1967 and has over 600 listed buildings of mellow limestone including five medieval churches.
A Visit Newmarket home of Horse Racing with The National Horseracing Museum is a 5-acre site in the heart of Newmarket. It comprises three complementary attractions; National Horseracing Museum in the Trainers House and Kings Yard Galleries, the Packard Galleries of British Sporting Art in Palace House, and a chance to meet former racehorses in the flagship home of Retraining of Racehorses.
