• A visit to Lewes, famous for its medieval streets, Although surrounded by chalk cliffs, the townscape is dominated by the remains of a Norman castle, continuing through the High Weald AONB to Royal Tunbridge Wells. The elegance and atmosphere of this bygone era still remain today in this, the only spa town in South East England. 

• An excursion to Hastings and ‘1066 Country’ visiting the historic town of Battle with chance to see the ancient abbey and famous battle site.
