Cleethorpes Armed Forces Day

 

The annual three-day event attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year with its military parades, air shows, and wide selection of food stalls. This year, the display included a spectacular fly-past from the Red Arrows. 

 

With this year’s celebrations now complete, the Armed Forces Major Events team are already planning the next big event. The crew have confirmed that a “bigger and better” Armed Forces Weekend event will take place between Friday 27 June and Sunday 29 June 2025. 

 

Thousands have reacted with excitement about the event. 

 

Gi Grimsby News spoke to the Armed Forces Major Event Team to find out what they had planned for next year. Here’s what they had to say: “We would like to thank the public from across the region who continue to support Armed Forces Weekend which has now become the flag-ship event of North East Lincolnshire and recognised further afield as the largest and most worthwhile event to attend.

The majority of trips return from destination between 16:30 and 17:30. The driver will inform you of the exact time on the day, dependant on outward travel times. Whilst we do not guarantee a W/C on board most of our excursion fleet do have toilet facilities. For your comfort we allocate seating at time of booking, however reserve the right to alter or amend your seat allocation for utilisation purposes.
